Is the latest backup showing all the files and folders even if they were untouched? So, what should I do from here? Should I select all the items, files and folders I see, and click the Restore button? Would this restore all the contents? An the latest versions? Because I am not sure how the latest backup can show up all the files from the ROSE volume whilst I used to touch just few of them. I am wondering how should I restore all the contents of the ROSE volume from backups into the new and empty ROSE volume?įrom what I can see, there is no way to select only the ROSE volume from the backups list, though if I select the new ROSE volume before Entering Time Machine, it opens with the ROSE volumes backups.
If I select ROSE I can see all the backups and I can scroll all of them from the rolling buttons on the left side. The only thing I did not try was to Enter the Time Machine since I did not migrate the OS volume yet.Įntering Time Machine, by selecting that disk or not selecting that disk, I can see all my backups. So, if I use Migrant Assistant, and I select my Time Machine disk, I can see: since there are many DATA folders related to that DATA disk in the other backup folders. Although, I suppose if I restore data using finder directly from that DATA folder, I would not restore all the files. When I connect the external Time Machine disk, from finder I can see the backup versions, and if I go into the last backup folder, I can see my DATA disk besides the MacOS disk. Another disk (partition) used only for DATA, about 90GB, was backed up on Time Machine too.
